Registration is now open for the spring semester (February 25 – April 17, 2019) of Effective Staff Supervision in Nonprofit Organizations. The course is a collaborative effort between 501(c) Services, the administrator of 501(c) Agencies Trust, and the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance (NLA). Scholarships are again being offered to members of 501(c) Agencies Trust. (see below)
The Effective Staff Supervision in Nonprofit Organizations e-certificate is a dynamic and engaging certification offered to nonprofit supervisors. The eight week course is part of the NLA’s total CNP program and can be taken as a stand-alone certificate. The program’s first session, offered last fall, quickly filled after the announcement of its creation. NLA again expects to have to create a waiting list.
Effective Staff Supervision provides the knowledge and tools needed to excel and expand the strengths of supervisors. Offered online, learners have the opportunity to interact with the course facilitator, as well as their peers, as they add and augment critical skills over eight intense weeks. The certificate focuses on topics such as risk mitigation; hiring best practices; interviewing like a pro; delegation; employee recruitment, retention and engagement; team building; and recognition.
Enrollment costs $600 with discounts and scholarships available to members of the Trust. The first session of the eight week course is scheduled to begin February 25th. The course will be offered again later this fall.

Discounts/Scholarships for 501(c) Agencies Trust Members
Members of 501(c) Agencies Trust now have access to a 20% discount off NLA’s entire Certified Nonprofit Professional credential. This includes a 20% discount to enroll in the Effective Staff Supervision e-certificate. The discounted cost of the entire CNP program is $2,245 for Trust Members. (The regular price is $2,725 or $300 per course.) The discounted member rate for the Effective Staff Supervision e-certificate is $480. (The regular price is $600.)
The deadline for scholarship requests for the 2019 spring semester of Effective Staff Supervision is January 31, 2019. (The semester begins February 25th.)
