INDEPENDENT SECTOR RESEARCHING NONPROFITS’ CYBER PRACTICES

By September 19, 2016No Comments

Independent Sector, a leadership network for nonprofits, foundations, and corporations committed to advancing the common good, is partnering with CyberDx, a division of Quantum International, to survey the nonprofit sector’s cyber security practices.

According to Independent Sector, cybercrime cases in the United States and elsewhere continue to grow, and reported breaches of small and medium size charitable organizations are increasingly common. They believe this is a growing area of concern for nonprofits. Therefore they have teamed with CyberDx in order to create a survey to learn more about the current state of cyber security as the first step in the process of helping to identify ways to reduce the potential financial risk and brand damage caused by cybercrime.

The survey only takes 5-10 minutes and closes October 14, 2016. Independent Sector plans to report on its findings late in 2016.

You can participate in the survey here.
