The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Capital Area begins work with 501(c) Services

We are pleased to announce that the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Capital Area (BGCCA) has decided to outsource the management of their unemployment to 501(c) Services. In today’s economy, the navigation of unemployment claims is more challenging and time-consuming than ever. Outsourcing this process to seasoned professionals guarantees compliance and accuracy while minimizing risk and expense.

BGCCA joins other nonprofits, like themselves, as part of 501(c) Agencies Trust – a group of state unemployment insurance (SUI) reimbursors. 501(c) Agencies Trust participants each have a customized plan uniquely designed to be the best fit for their organization, and enjoy a robust suite of additional services that support their human resource and financial functions.

BGCCA provides safe havens for young people by offering quality programs and critical relationships with nurturing and reliable adults. They operate two Clubhouses: one in Albany and one in Troy. Today, BGCCA school-based locations make up 13 of their program sites, serving around 1,100 kids a day. They also currently operate 16 UPK classrooms in 6 school-based locations. That program serves 288 children each school year.

Please let us know if you would like to see if you can save time and money on your unemployment. Just like BGCCA!
