Community Resource Project (California) begins work with 501(c) Services

We are pleased to announce that Community Resource Project, Inc. in California has decided to outsource the management of their unemployment to 501(c) Services. With state unemployment insurance taxes (SUTA) increasing in dozens of states nationwide, now is an excellent time to consider alternatives – especially in California. Reimbursing unemployment and outsourcing the process to seasoned professionals guarantees compliance and accuracy while minimizing risk and expense.

Community Resource Project, Inc. (CRP, Inc.) joins other nonprofits, like themselves, as part of 501(c) Agencies Trust – a group of SUTA reimbursers. 501(c) Agencies Trust participants each have a customized plan uniquely designed to be the best fit for their organization. They enjoy a robust suite of additional services that support their human resource and financial functions.

CRP, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization based in Sacramento, founded in 1972 by three Latino community leaders, to provide much-needed services to low-income communities. The agency originally offered employment training to men and women exiting the correctional system. Today, they have a major impact on families in Northern California, with service to three counties: Sacramento, Sutter, and Yuba. CRP, Inc. provides a variety of programs in energy and weatherization services, women, infant, and children-health programs, as well as education with funding from the California Department of Community Services and Development, the California Department of Public Health, the Department of Energy, SMUD, PG&E as well as local contract and grants.

Please let us know if you would like to see if we can show you alternatives to managing your unemployment. Just like Community Resource Project!
