2 On June, 4,2021, the Cook County Commission on Human Rights announced the minimum wage and minimum cash wage could not increase on July 1, 2021 due to the county’s unemployment rate in the previous year reaching a specific level, triggering a freeze to the annual CPI-based adjustment.
