Join us on for the third webinar in our series of dealing with COVID-19 in the workplace. Nonprofits continue to grapple with the host of new employment and labor laws related to the pandemic, and this webinar will provide an update on the new rules, practical suggestions for compliance, and time at the end for questions and answers. Our prior two webinars, on March 31, 2020, and on April 28, 2020 provided valuable information and were widely attended.

In the latest installment, Bruce Sarchet of Littler will discuss:

  • The re-opening of “non-essential” businesses – whether, when and how to get back to work.
  • Workers’ compensation issues – presumption of connection with workplace for essential workers.
  • COVID testing in the workplace.
  • Dealing with workers who do not wish to return to work due to fear of infection.
  • Cal-OSHA’s new infection control guidelines.
  • Contact tracing in the workplace.
  • Union organizing in the nonprofit sector.

As always, we will continue to monitor new developments up to the day before the webinar, to provide the most up-to-date information possible.

Speaker: Bruce Sarchet, Attorney at Law, Littler
